Welcome to Hawea Church
Our mission is, "Seeking and Serving, Together in Hawea" with a vision that we provide space for
Restoration, Relationship & Rest.
We are part of the Wanaka Presbyterian Church, located in Lake Hawea.
We are a Biblically based church sharing God's love with everyone. We're an all-ages congregation, from a range of backgrounds. We seek to follow Jesus and know the life He offers us through His Spirit, experiencing and sharing the love of God, our heavenly Father.
We are kid-friendly with a thriving all ages Kids Church available during the Sunday service.
Originally known as St Ninians we are now building a new, fit for purpose Church in Longview, hence the name change to Hawea Church. While this is being built, we are meeting most Sunday mornings at the Lake Hawea Community Centre.

We can't wait to meet you. We're excited to invite you to join us at church this Sunday. It's a laid-back welcoming space where you can meet new people and find a little inspiration. We're really looking forward to meeting you and sharing this experience together. Hope to see you there!
Services are generally just over an hour long followed by tea & coffee.
We meet every Sunday and join together for Communion every first Sunday of the month.
